Himadri & Aditya - Destiantion Wedding in Le Meridien, Jaipur | Marwari Wedding

YES! Finally here we are :)

Photo buffs and avid travellers having visited around 10 countries together took the plunge and got married early this year at Le Meridien in Jaipur. Hopefully you guys have checked out their pre wedding shoot, if not please please do, it's definitely by far one of our favourites!

It was the long walks after meals outside IIM Ahmedabad that got them closer. Affection soon grew into a beautiful life long commitment and they tied the knot this year. They couldn't have chosen a more beautiful and culturally rich place than Jaipur. With such a beautiful location we HAD to one round of photo shoot before the functions and the madness would begin. A refreshing way to start the day :)

The shoot was followed by a Mehendi ceremony in Le Meridien Lawns for the close family members along with welcoming all the guests. We found it extremely sporting that Aditya voluntarily applied Mehendi.

The Mehendi was followed by the Sangeet ceremony which was out in the open on a cold cold cold winter night! They had set up an extravagant stage along with some crazy fireworks.

The highlight of the show was the performance done by their friends. These IIM grads had managed to lip sync songs like 'I will walk 500 miles' to 'Dilwaale dulhaniya le jayenge'. It was the most epic and funniest dedication video we've seen so far. I think these reaction pictures will speak for them-self.

If you think after this everyone called it a night? Nope! A mad after party was still in store :)

A late night never has an early morning. Well, not in the case of weddings! While we could still hear the previous nights music thumping in our heads, what took our minds off it was the intimate, fun filled haldi ceremony and the beautiful melodious Marwadi songs sung by Aditya's aunts and sisters.

 

Right after the Haldi we quickly ran to take some advantage of the beautiful location and take a couple of trousseau shots. We totally adore Himadri's coral lehenga!

It's such a delight to cover a baraat in culturally rich cities! The way these band waala dress up with full pomp and show is truly a photographers delight :)

The wedding was out in the open with a beautiful mandap setup right next to the pool. Yes, we literally had to put on our gloves =]

Within the stipulated time frame we quickly managed to take a couple of portraits. They had a bold and stunning vintage car for the vidaai. What more we could ask for :D

Those two days were all a haze, the maximum amount of work as well as the maximum amount of fun we've had in a long time. We wish you guys a magnificent life together :)
