Karishma & Varun, Pre-wedding shoot in Lonavla

While brainstorming for a location for their pre-wedding shoot, we suggested if there was a place where Karishma and Varun frequented or they really liked. Within seconds, both of them chimed in with their answers and their quaint chalet in Aamby Valley stood out of the whole lot. They wanted to capture a little bit of the indoors and a little bit of the outdoors for their session, so we met for coffee at their place in Aamby, chilled and shot indoors.
Then, Varun guided us to this unexploited part of Lonavla which is quite a bit drive from there. This place blew our mind, I'm glad we caught the last light over there just in time. I’ll just let the photos show you, I think my writing will only ruin it. Enjoy!

Ishita & Nikunj: Radisson Blu, Alibaug

This wedding was as special to us as it was to the couple. The functions were packed with emotional moments and leaving behind the traditional approach, we had our fair share of firsts throughout capturing this couple’s functions from Pune to Alibaug. One of the unusual things was our Groom-to-be (Nikunj) who was as enthusiastic about his own wedding preparations as the bride (Ishita)!

Garima & Tuhin, Noor Mahal, Karnal

Just imagine, escaping to the countryside in crazy North winters with the closest bunch of friends and family, rustic and royal location and all. That's exactly what Garima & Tuhin's wedding looked like, an epic adventure. To top it all, Garima's brothers co-ordinated outfits for the Sangeet and how could we not get all five of them together for a shot together. Even though that meant waking a few of them drunk brothers in the middle of the night because that was the only time we could have all of them together. Garima and Tuhin both exactly knew how they wanted to style themselves for the wedding and it was evident from all the events how precisely they had put together their looks. It was just amazing to see how well they were carrying themselves off with all that poise.

See it all below!

This incredible wedding was also featured on WedmeGood. Garima has left some warm words for us and our work over there. Go have a look! --> Link

"We absolutely loved working with The Wedding Salad. No one could have captured the moments as well as we imagined them to be. They care a lot about details of every photo being captured and they don't stop until they get the shots perfect. And they are a lot of fun to work with it.It was the best decision to get The Wedding Salad to capture our wedding."

Manoshi & Atit: Renaissance Hotel, Mumbai

Where to even begin with these two. Manoshi and Atit met in high school and Atit knew that she was the one since 11th grade! Their wedding weekend started with the White wedding which was Manoshi's childhood dream. When we entered Manoshi's room where she and her bridesmaids got ready. The emotion you could feel just walking in the room was overwhelming with anticipation and love, there were lots of happy tears and group hugs. Their friends and family did so much to bring their wedding together to make it perfect from Manoshi's friends doing a flashmob for Atit, her family doing a welcome dance for the baraat to powerpacked performances during the sangeet.

Their vows told a story, about strengthening their own weaknesses to build each other up. There were so many memorable and magical little moments that have stuck with us even months after this wedding.

Manoshi shared her thoughts in the WedmeGood feature on their wedding. Do have a look!

Neha & Karan: Devigarh Palace, Udaipur

An intimate palace wedding is basically music to our wedding loving ears, and Neha & Karan’s romantic little ceremony? It’s basically the sweetest sounding symphony. Add in the beautiful countryside of Udaipur and their closest family and friends and you’ve got a celebration that you won’t want to miss.

The understated elegance of 18th centuary old Devigarh Palace, nestled in the heart of Aravalli Hills served as the source of inspiration for all their events. The amazing part of this wedding was that they limited the guest list to 80 people where friends outnumbered the relatives which made this celebration even warmer.

Dive into their light, exciting and cheerful wedding album!

Sanjana & Revant, JW Marriot Aerocity, New Delhi

When we first talked to Sanjana over the phone, we were excited out of our minds over the prospect of shooting a wedding in Nepal. The idea of shooting a wedding with the backdrop of himalayas was exhilarating. We started looking for locations over the internet where we could do their pre-wedding shoot and wedding portraits but unfortunately, Nepal was struck with one of the biggest earthquakes in history on 12th April, 2015. Sanjana's family who are based out of Nepal didn't find it right to be celebrating in the country which was mourning. With only one month to go for the wedding, they shifted the festivities to Delhi. Both the families put in crazy amount of hard work to put this wedding together in a month's time and We have put together a selection of images from this amazing wedding for you to have a look.

Thank you to Sanjana and Revant for inviting us to document their day and big love to WeddingSutra for featuring their wedding!

We always love shooting in the south of Goa – the light is quite simply amazing! And this lovely  wedding near Palolem is no exception!

Smriti hails from Varanasi whereas DivyaPrakash's family is based out of Nepal. Both the families flew to Goa to celebrate the wedding in the beautiful Lalit Golf & Spa Resort which was truly a riot of color. Although it was winter, it was a warm sunny day, and their friends and family were here to enjoy their stunning wedding day – and that’s really what it’s all about!

Avneet & Arjun, Mumbai

We are very excited to be finally sharing Avneet and Arjun's 5-day long wedding celebrations on the blog here. You may have seen them grace our Instagram feed and our WedMeGood Profile before by way of their pre-wedding shoot and other wedding photos. Today we are sharing a selection of images from their pre-wedding shoot, mehendi, sangeet, wedding and reception.

Since these guys were short on time, we decided to do their pre-wedding shoot in not so done spots of Mumbai. With so many shoots happening here, it's hard to find something that has not been done. We wanted a classy but a monotone backdrop for their Save the Date and this mural in Arjun's house was perfect for this. It took two days of camping at Ronaldo's props and Arjun's brother and househelp's holding the the light strings. With Avneet's quirky and at the same time chic styling for the save the date we had everything for both the looks that we wanted to achieve.
