Karan and Nicky

Karan and Nicky tied the knot on 9th December 2012 and a few weeks before the wedding ceremony we had sometime for a couple shoot. We were meeting the couple for the first time and both of them were very accomodating with our requests like stand in the water, walk around the shore, keep talking to each other and what not. They were more than happy to do it, we should say :)

Location was Silver beach, which was chosen by the couple themselves.  On a Sunday morning, the beach was full of people running and jogging. I particularly love this shot where it seems like as if the time stopped. They had their first date here only almost twelve years ago. Hence, so much love :)

We tried to chronicle their love story with the help of chalkboards. I love this candid shot of Nicky that Kanishka took where he was posing all excited and I pointed it out to Nicky and she started laughing.

Proximity of the airport to this location gave us some lovely shots of the couple and planes. While we parted from the couple and they went for a walk along the shore, we saw this plane going and caught it just right at the moment.

Something about The Wedding Salad Pre-wedding shoot:

First off, we get to know you. What you love, what makes you happy and who fills your heart up to the brim. Your story is the key to build and plan the perfect session that will capture all your amazingness. Our job is to make sure you are enjoying being together. Thats when the magic happens and photos that really make you feel something can be created.

That's what we want to capture for you. So you can remember those details forever! If that sounds like the kind of photos you'd dig, then drop us a line.

In reply to Vinay Jain

This post is feedback response to our client Vinay Jain who posted his review of our services.

Hi Vinay

Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback! Since we had informed you earlier, that we'll be out of the country and not accessing the net, hence delay in replying.

While I appreciate and feel some points will really help us in improving our services but somethings have rendered only half of the situations that were there during your wedding. I will try to answer them one by one to the best of my capabilities.

1. Pricing
I understand that your wedding is your special day but we are also running a business here. We try to keep our prices as competitive and reasonable instead of offering discounts to acquire more clients.

2. Advance Payment
All our policies are based on painful past experiences. We have had clients in the past who have stood us up a day before the shoot. Thus, the existence of advance payment rule.

3. Involvement
We try not to be on your face during the ceremonies so that you get the best candid shots while the posed shots are left for the coverage photographer while at the same time take care of the fact that we don't come in each others (video & photo) footage. Candid shots cannot be set up.

4. Absence & Compensation
We have already discussed the situation we were in and apologised for it despite of the fact that bending weather conditions is not something that is in our hands. We had a shoot in Ludhiana a day prior i.e on the 14th January 2013. Your sangeet function was scheduled for the 15th evening, 7pm onwards. Since we had to shoot until 14th midnight we booked the earliest non stop flight from Chandigarh the next morning which was at 11.15am (the earliest flight available from Chandigarh). Due to erratic weather conditions one by one ALL the flights from Chandigarh got cancelled. We didn't have an option to catch a flight from Delhi because it's approximately a 6 hour journey from Chandigarh. In such a situation the only option we had was to send someone else to cover the function, which we did. The photographers who covered your sangeet function are a part of our team whom we work with on a regular basis. Also, in addition to the wedding function we covered the mehendi function to compensate, without any added costs.

5. Delay in Payment
Delays in the delivery of preview pictures were intimated to you beforehand since it was a tight wedding season and it got delayed by two days. The final delivery got delayed because as per the contract you were supposed to pay the balance amount within 2 weeks of the wedding which you didn't as a result it delayed the start of the editing process. We anyway started working on the pictures since we didn't want to hold on to it further and your final payment was made SEVEN WEEKS late. In the middle of continuous editing and rendering work it's impossible to sit and show every photo from a 3 day wedding which we nevertheless did.

6. Feedback
I would like to add here that my mail with the preview pictures had asked for your feedback to which we didn't get any response.

P.S: Despite of the fact that we agreed on the said amount, at the time of handing over the DVD partial payment was held back because of unknown reasons. After a long negotiation the entire balance was finally made.
