Neha and Rohit (Mehandi)

It never ceases to amaze us, the transformation of a girl to a bride. Mehendi marks the start of wedding celebrations and it is then when it finally hits. Yes, you are finally getting married! Its a big transformation indeed. Most of our work was done cause we had this bride who has the most charming smile :)

We simply adore her outfit accessorized by the flower ornaments that Neha's mother got specially made from the famous Dadar flower market. We caught this very special moment when she was putting them on :)

The mehendi was a very intimate homely function with only close family members accompanied by enthusiastic filmy dance performances on mundane mehendi songs by Neha's brothers. We can recall ourselves rolling everytime a new song was played!

While getting entertained neha was in this big fix whether or not to get elephants instead of peacocks in her mehendi (she hates peacocks). Nevertheless after all that contemplation the peacocks did come out really beautiful!

Just when Neha was a bit tired of sitting and gazing at her mehendi suddenly we heard roars of dholwaala's. Yes! there were a bunch of them on the terrace setting up the mood for the big day! There was a beautiful canope erected in one corner of the terrace with minimal yet alluring incandescent lights.

Karan and Nicky - The Wedding

Karan and Nicky from "Karan and Nicky Pre wedding shoot" got married at Mystic Valley Resort, Igatpuri. They tied knot after twelve years of dating.

The wedding details were finely selected by Karan's mother and aunt. The decor after being lit up looked magical.

Karan's sister Neha also got married there.

If you have met either of us in person or talked on phone, you must have heard from us atleast once how much fun Igatpuri was. There are so many blogposts I have to do on both the weddings and their ceremonies but for now, here is Karan and Nicky's Haldi and Wedding.

Mehandi, Sangeet and Reception was common to both the couples. I have included some shots of Karan and Nicky from the common functions here.

Wedding was a day after the Sangeet which had ring ceremony also. Karan's sister, Neha got married a day before him. Even though after 4-5 days of celebration there were no less in excitement of this baraat.

Nicky's friends were playing filmy while the baraat took its time to reach the venue. I took the opportunity to catch them doing this while Kanishka was shooting the baraat.

Nicky's ring

As I said, the wedding was magical. Nicky's arrival was grand and the varmala was superb.

While the couple looked away at the sky full of fireworks, their friends and relatives started cheering.

And this one is our favourite. Karan's father and sister blowing them kisses :)

Karan and Nicky

Karan and Nicky tied the knot on 9th December 2012 and a few weeks before the wedding ceremony we had sometime for a couple shoot. We were meeting the couple for the first time and both of them were very accomodating with our requests like stand in the water, walk around the shore, keep talking to each other and what not. They were more than happy to do it, we should say :)

Location was Silver beach, which was chosen by the couple themselves.  On a Sunday morning, the beach was full of people running and jogging. I particularly love this shot where it seems like as if the time stopped. They had their first date here only almost twelve years ago. Hence, so much love :)

We tried to chronicle their love story with the help of chalkboards. I love this candid shot of Nicky that Kanishka took where he was posing all excited and I pointed it out to Nicky and she started laughing.

Proximity of the airport to this location gave us some lovely shots of the couple and planes. While we parted from the couple and they went for a walk along the shore, we saw this plane going and caught it just right at the moment.

Something about The Wedding Salad Pre-wedding shoot:

First off, we get to know you. What you love, what makes you happy and who fills your heart up to the brim. Your story is the key to build and plan the perfect session that will capture all your amazingness. Our job is to make sure you are enjoying being together. Thats when the magic happens and photos that really make you feel something can be created.

That's what we want to capture for you. So you can remember those details forever! If that sounds like the kind of photos you'd dig, then drop us a line.
